Power is coming from the Midwest

The energy sector is booming, and a new source of power is on the horizon.

The Midwestern Energy Connection (MECC), a $300 million project in Iowa, has been designed to provide electricity from natural gas in the midwest and elsewhere, providing more than 5 percent of the nation’s electricity demand.MECS CEO Mark Miller told E&C he thinks natural gas is the future of energy production.

“We’re in a very strong position to bring electricity generation to the Midwest,” he said.

Miller said the MECC will produce 100 megawatts of power annually, with 100 megawatt-hours (MW) from the Midwestern Power and Gas Association (MWGA).

The facility, called Midwestern Electric Generating Station (MEGS), is being built on the Mid-Michigan Freeway.

Miller pointed out that the Midwest is a relatively small energy market, with just 1.5 million people.

“Our goal is to get the energy we need into our communities.

And it’s not just a matter of going to gas,” he explained.

Miller also said the Midwest Energy Connection will produce more than $150 million in new capital investment in the state, which will help build up the state’s natural gas infrastructure and increase the reliability of its transmission lines.

The project is not the first in the Midwest to produce energy from natural sources, but it’s the first large-scale demonstration of a new technology that relies on natural gas.

The new facility will generate electricity at an efficiency rate of 90 percent.

The facility will also generate about $5 billion in annual revenue for the state.

The MECS facility will be located near the University of Iowa campus in Ames.

Miller said the project will provide electricity to more than 10,000 homes, but will also provide about 3,500 jobs, which is a small fraction of the jobs in the region.

Miller noted that the MEGS facility, which has been in the works for five years, will provide a “critical lifeline” for the region’s power generation.

“It’s not a new thing,” he added.

“This is a new concept.”MECs goal is that it will generate more than 3,000 megawatts, enough power to power more than 700,000 households.

The utility has spent $1.6 billion to build the facility, but the project is projected to generate more electricity than that amount.

MECs construction costs are expected to be in the $50 million range.

Miller described the facility as “the largest and most complete natural gas energy generation facility in the United States.”

“We want to be able to bring power to communities in a way that doesn’t depend on a centralized generation system, that’s energy-independent,” he told ETV.

The energy source, which Miller called “a natural gas-based fuel source,” is expected to produce about 100 megaws of power per year.

The MEC will use a combination of gas turbines, natural gas turbines and hydroelectric power plants.

Miller estimated that the project would cost about $10 million to build, but said it would provide more than 4,500 permanent jobs in Iowa and other states.

Miller told Etv that the cost of the project has been reduced by a factor of five since it was first announced.MEGC currently has one other energy-related project under construction, but that one will not generate enough electricity to supply Iowa’s entire electricity demand for the entire year.

Miller added that the company is working on other projects, including a large new power station in Texas, as well as a project in the Great Plains of Oklahoma.

The Midwestern Wind Project, which began construction in 2014, will be able provide 5,000 MW of power from natural-gas sources.

Miller explained that the wind power project will not rely on a single power source, but rather on multiple generators.

“One of the things we’re trying to do is have a mix of renewable, and natural gas, and wind,” he noted.
